Graphic Design Tips

The Guesthouse is an artist run initiative from Cork, Ireland.
The building is a reclaimed 4 floor guesthouse turned into an artist studio and residency space.
I joined the residency program from February - April of 2011 where I worked on a new series of narrative illustrations.
While in residency I also redesigned their identity with a logo and website. Content for the website was co-organised with visual artist Colette Lewis
The logo was inspired by the architectural layout design and the welcoming ethos of the space.
It consists of a modified Helvetica upper case H and a vector upper case G.
